Super Smash Bros. Brawl running on the PC using Dolphin revision 2671. System used: + E8400 @ 4GHz + 4GB Ballistix DDR2 RAM + XFX GTX 260 216 Black Edition This video demonstrates just how well this game can be emulated with a decent CPU & GPU (not to demonstrate game play) as most of the videos on YouTube are low quality cam / cell footage. Who knew Wii games could look so good once 16xAA / 16xQ CSAA is applied? Using Dolphin How To Use Ocarina [Wii]/ How To Use Cheats With Wii Games” href=”http://www.zoocs.com/how-to-use-ocarina-wii-how-to-use-cheats-with-wii-games/”>to emulate this 1-year old title is like playing a whole new game …

this video wasn’t made for you to have fun watching another Brawl battle, it was made for you to see Wii in High Definition, so, there’s no need to do a normal fight

i dont see what the point of this is if it removes the ability for the AI to function. Doesn’t most games use AI?

A small hint for those who are complaining about the aliasing: Turn down the sharpness of your TV. The standard-setting ist way too high, mostly. Turning it down will also give you a better image when watchin HD-stuff or playing 360/PS3. When the sharpness is set correctly, PS2 and Wii look almost as good as on an “old” tube TV.

Ok, it’s much clearer than 480p, but after all I think it looks better in the lower res., as you can totally see the lack of detail in 720p. It should improve the playability as you have a better overview, though.

Thats pretty cool. I remember reading somewhere that the Wii could output 720p and that it was just not enabled. I think that if that were somehow switched on, it could handle the resolution alone. Its all of the anti-aliasing that requires all of that oomph, but I wonder if that would really be necessary on a TV.
FWIW, I play on a 42″ Plasma from across the room, doubt I’d notice a difference. But I’d love to try it if there was a hack to enable 720 on the Wii.

weird

Am I the only one who thought the stage transitions happened a lot faster than usual?
March 30th, 2009 at 2:29 pm
This is about a Wii game running in 720p instead of the lame console output 480p.
A agree with you about supporting game companies though!

What do you think this game will do on this system:
-Intel i7 Core 920
-9800GTX+ 1GB
-6GB RAM DDR3?

Are you running Vista or XP ? What is the average fps ? It looks playable but i am interested in some kind of number
Thanks
