No you can do it on your floor just make sure there is a clear space and good lighting.

Yep you can definately play it on the floor. You just have to make sure the camera is angled down and you have good lighting. Its a brilliant game. They have someone showing you the whole set up when you first start! Its very very cute. My son and I have hours of fun on it doing challenges and dressing him etc. Go for it.

That monkey is so cute! Im gonna buy a PlayStationEye! but can I make 2 questions? first Its only downloadable that game, and the another question is is obligatory put the TV in a table where put the hands and play with the monkey? Could I play with the monkey but in the floor with the TV in table?
