My nephew use to watch this show. Decent idea, but the way they executed it was horrible. TMNT was way better.

You you want a game like Streets of Rage on the, I think that you should play Madworld first. It’s great and it has that oldschool style.

I’m 28, and have never seen the show Ben10… But the game looks semi-decent. Nothing horrible, nothing amazing, just somewhere in the middle. IMO, one of the best beat-em-ups based on a licensed cartoon was: ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time’ on the SNES. I friggin’ loved that one.
Also, speaking of beat-em-ups on the Wii, I’m surprised you haven’t reviewed Mad World yet.

There is no Ben 11 Alien Force. I think you meant Bert Blyleven Alien Force.

i agree. just because its a “childs game” doesn’t mean it has to be crap or have a cartoon license. im 31 and i was playing contra, metal gear and life force as a kid. i started gaming with atlantis and demon attack, i didn’t need some cynical, cartoon money grab to get me into games.

People are getting smarter with licensed games. Just copy simple old school games and slap on the characters and tada decent game for the kids and fans.
I agree with Ben 10 being good. Right up there with Avatar, Batman Brave & The Bold, and The new Wolverine/X-men show.

Games have always been stereotypical. It’s just now that you are finally starting to notice.
And please, this game is for the Wii, which is mostly a console for children and casual gamers, that don’t like playing a space marine in every single video game they can buy for their console.
Get where your coming form though.
We can call it quits in saying that going next gen was a mistake, and that anything after Nintendo 64(besides the Dreamcast) was a step back.

actually, Ben 10 is one of the better shows on cartoon network nowadays and one that actually has a plot.

In Hiberia, this game is called Hek Den. It is upscaled to 720p through our televisions and it produces THX sound.

Ben10 is a pretty fun show to watch, and the game looks like fun, too. I love me some side-scrolling beat em ups, and this one looks pretty fun.
Thanks for the review! Score for the Wii, it needs good games.
It’s not Halo, or Akira, or anything like that. It’s Ben10, and it plays well (as far as I can tell from this vid). You guys are too harsh.

nothing, people are just bias because its strictly a 10-12 year olds show and its on a system that caters for that age group
March 29th, 2009 at 12:42 pm
wow, ben 10 only 10-12 year olds or anyone with the brain damage to be like one should watch it but hell, kids have the heightened imagination similar to wii owners. wow waving a remote around to perform gestures which is in fact less healthier than playing COD 4, which is absolutely true
