Bakugan toys are increasing everyday in popularity among kids. The popular Japanese cartoon series “Bakugan Battle Brawlers” is where these toys get their inspiration, which is about some kids that discover the cards can be used to determine the fate of the universe by battling monsters from another dimension called Vestroia. Bakugan was created by the combined efforts of Sega Games and Spin Master, and follow the concept of the cartoon very closely. The cards from the game have the cartoon characters displayed on them just like the toys, which are rolled over the gate cards on the field and will pop open to reveal the battle brawler. Similar to the games that came before it like Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon, it can be collected, traded, and played with other players. The point of the game is to take turns rolling the spheres out onto the battle field and attempt to transform it on one of the gate cards. While the collectible cards are fun to play, it is the toy spheres that keep every ones attention. There are so many collectible battle brawlers, and more will be arriving soon with the rise of the games popularity. The instructions are simple to get, and very easy to understand for any kid that has ever seen the animated series. The players will alternate laying down their gate cards on the field, and then roll one of their bakugan battle brawlers onto the field across the cards to get it to stand on them. If they don’t land on a card it is the other players turn. When a player lands two of his brawlers on the same card, then the card is taken into that player’s possession. When both players land one of their battle brawlers on the same gate card then the two player have to battle for the card. The gate card they are both on is then turned over, and add up the G points to each brawler to decide who wins the battle. The winner captures the card. The player that captures three cards first wins. The game is pretty simple to understand, and extremely fun too. Other rule variations can be used also. There are many other items that can be bought as an addition to Bakugan games to make the experience more fun, such as the battle arena and the shooters. The battle arena explains the rules slightly different, but any rule variations to the game are acceptable as long as both players agree. About the Author:
