For years now, the video store was the way to get movies. Now, with internet usage exploding, movie downloads are becoming very popular. Let’s look at what you might find to watch using a movie download site. Good Guys Wear Black: Norris hops feet first through a windshield and proceeds to rearrange the face of bellman Backus, all in the name of nationwide security. Stupid political paranoia thriller passes time effortlessly enough. Cast includes Chuck Norris, Anne Archer, James Franciscus, Lloyd Haynes, Dana Andrews, and Jim Backus.(100 minutes, 1979) Cry of Battle: Choppy action movie set in the Philippines with MacArthur as child of prosperous businessman who joins sectarian cause finding romance and sense of maturation. Cast includes Van Heflin, Rita Moreno, James MacArthur, and Leopoldo Salcedo. (99 minutes, 1963) Jerry Maguire: Jerry is an agent for a top Sports Management group. When he is fired, he expects his client to come along with him as he sets out on his own. All of a sudden Jerry realizes that he has no true friends in this cutthroat, dog eat dog, business. Down to one client and one assistant, Jerry fights to build himself a business. The Reward: Pledging premise and excellent cast led awry in static Western. A group of bounty hunters turn on each other, as greed for bigger share of prize money motivates them into conflict. Cast includes Max von Sydow, Yvette Mimieux, Efrem Zimbalist, Gilbert Roland, Emilio Fernandez, Henry Silva, and Rodolfo Acosta. (92 minutes, 1965) Life With Father: Powerful adaptation of a long running Broadway play by Howard Lindsay and Russell Crusoe based on Clarence Night’s tale of growing up in turn-of-the-century NYC with his admiring although offbeat dad. This is utterly admirable, and a handsome production also. The Screen-play is by Donald Ogden Stewart. Cast includes William Powell, Irene Dunne, Elizabeth Taylor, Edmund Gwenn, ZaSu Pitts, Jimmy Lydon, and Matlin Milner. (118 minutes, 1947) The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Outrageously naughty film spoof, spiced with sex, and rock music, in regards to a un-crooked couple, Janet and Brad Sarandon, and Bostwick are stranded in an old gloomy home full of weirdos from Transylvania Music and words by O’Brien; melodies contain “Time Warp, and “Crazy and Wild Thing’. Cast includes Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick, Richard O’Brien, Jonathan Adams, and Meatloaf. (95 minutes, 1975) La Separation: Knowingly detailed, beautifully performed journal of the simmering tension between a wedded couple (Huppert and Auteuil) as their relation falls apart. Cast includes Isabelle Huppert, Daniel Auteuil, Jerome Deschamps, Karin Viard, and Laurence Lerel. (85 minutes, 1994) Independence Day: One day things seem perfectly normal, the next the future of the entire planet is at stake. Know we know for certain that we are not alone in the universe. The question to be answered is can we defend ourselves from this ominous threat? Barefoot in the Park: A plot less flick in which amusing Neil Simon comedy finds Fonda and Redford newlyweds in a 5 story walk up condo. Redford and Natwick reconstruct their Broadway roles. Cast includes Robert Redford, Jane Fonda, Charles Boyer, Mildred Natwick, Herb Edelman, Mabel Albertson, Fritz Feld, and Doris Roberts.
